FIPS' President just sent in a PDF file with infos and the registration form to attend to 17th FIPS Congress in Are.

We hope to welcome some patrollers from some yet-to-be-affiliated countries along with specific experts offering great information and techniques.

Marie and her 2009 Organizing Committee are about ready to open registration.

Perhaps there will be early registration advantages to past Congress attendees.

The Congress costs will expressed and paid in local currency.

Early registration will help you reserve airline tickets using points (not included in registration). Transportation from airport will be included, will have scheduled busses and specific alternate arrangements may be made, if we are advised early.

Presentation inputs from Members are encouraged and we will attempt to schedule as many as possible. Please make sure your SPO is participating in ALL of our current survey projects; Tools & Competencies, Injuries to Patrollers, Safety Educational Programs and Medical Committee.

Eastern Canada is experiencing the best snow conditions in many years. The average snow fall so far, exceeds by more than double, previous levels. Many areas opened a month earlier than usual.. around mid-November. The snow continues to fall at seemingly regular intervals which has been a boon to the ski areas during the holiday season.

MAY YOU ALL HAVE A HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR

the winter in coming closer and a few ski resort already started their business while other are warming their engines.

We are waiting for your posts with news about your resorts, your activities and the way you carry them out.
